Custom-built. Test-fired. Shipped worldwide
For over 25 years, our team has built bulletproof vans for agencies and organizations that cannot afford to have a vehicle fail them. Because each van is armored to order, the protection is invisible from the outside; the van looks and drives like any other.

Who we build for
A cash-in-transit crew transporting currency through a city with a history of credible robberies.
An executive traveling through a region where kidnapping is a business.
A mobile command unit coordinating a multi-agency response in real time.
With a proven track record of zero incidents of armor penetration across thousands of vehicles deployed globally, we are the trusted choice for law enforcement and private organizations that cannot afford to find out their protection was not good enough. We don't sell on paper certifications. Every armor package we build is validated by live-fire testing, witnessed by independent ballistic labs, and certified to NIJ, CEN, and VPAM standards. The protection level you order is the protection level the test certificates support.

Armor packages are live-fire tested to NIJ, CEN, and VPAM standards, witnessed by independent labs, and matched to the specific threats the customer is facing.
POINTER® vans accommodate up to 10 passengers and are fully configurable with surveillance systems, communications equipment, and operational gear.
Long-term US government supplier to law enforcement and private sectors worldwide. Export of certain vehicles requires Form BIS-711.
From CIT to mobile command, our bulletproof vans are purpose-built to keep your team safe and operational in the most demanding situations.
Armored vans are rated to international ballistic standards — CEN, NIJ, and STANAG. Alpine Armoring uses its own grading scale, Level A4 through A9, which maps directly to those standards. Most law enforcement customers choose Level A9, which stops rifle rounds, including AR-15, 7.62x39, 7.62x51, and M80 ball, and includes floor protection against two DM51 hand grenades. Executive protection and VIP transport clients often choose A6, which handles AK-47 and comparable rifle threats at a lighter vehicle weight. A4 covers serious handgun threats up to .44 Magnum and is commonly used for lower-risk transport and corporate security applications.

The right level depends on your threat environment, your operational requirements, and, in some cases, your budget. A federal agency protecting a transit route and a corporate security director moving an executive through a stable city have different needs. Our team works with clients to determine the appropriate specification before any build begins.
